How do I know what is in the Bee Box each week?
You won't know for sure until you receive your Bee Box. The assortment you get depends on the season, availability, and what is freshest looking produce the day we pack your boxes. We try and have apples, bananas, and a some sort of a salad mix each week, but we can't guarantee you will always get those.
Can I pick the produce I get in the box?
No. Since we get the best deals when we buy in large quantities, the savings would be reduced a lot if we allowed everyone to ‘pick what they want.’ Even though you don’t get to pick, we are sure that you will be happy with all the produce that comes in the Bee Box. We are always open to new suggestions, so use the "Contact Us" form or take the survey! :)
Is the produce in the Bee Box Organic?
We try to get as much organic produce as possible, but due to the higher costs and lack of availability we can't fill the Bee Box with just organic produce. When we can find good quality and reasonably priced organic produce, we snatch that up immediately. Unfortunately for the most part, it is a hit or miss each week.
Where do you get your produce?
We try to get our produce from local farms, however, the amount included in the boxes varies due to the season and how much we can get. We do include produce from other areas, but that also varies from week to week. The produce that is included from other areas is the exact same you would find in the grocery store, but fresher!

What is the last day I can place an order for a Bee Box?
Your order must be placed 3 days prior to your Host Site's scheduled pick up day. All cut off days are listed under the "Pick Up Location" link in the header.
What happens if I place my order after cut off date?
No worries! If you place your order after cut off, your Bee Box will be available the following week at your pick up location. If you think you have missed cut off, but aren't sure, you can email us either by using the contact us form or emailing us at admin@greenbeeproduce.com to check.
What if I don't have any children in school, or go to church, or not affiliated with any of your Host Sites, can I still order?
Yes, you can! It doesn't matter if you are affiliated or a member of any of the organizations to order.
I really want a Bee Box this week, but I missed cut off. Can I buy a box on pick up day?
No - all purchases must be placed through our website in order to get a box on delivery day. No money transactions will take place on site. So if you did not place your order on time, don't worry, your order will be available the following week at your host organization's pick up location.
Help! I don't know if my order has gone through!
If you are unsure if you order has processed, check your email (and Spam folder!). You should have received a receipt if your order has successfully been processed. If you can't find an email, use the contact us form or email us at admin@greenbeeproduce.com and we'll check for you.
What if I place my order and find out that I won't be in town that week. Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, no. Once your order has been placed, we cannot accept cancellations. Please make arrangements with a friend or family to pick up your box.

What is Continuous Order?
A continuous order is an order that will be placed automatically week after week on your behalf without you having to physically log onto the site and submit your order. For example: I know I want to order a Bee Box for the next month, I am awful with remembering to go online and place my order each week. If I set up a continuous order a Bee Box order will automatically be placed for me and my card debited. I pick up my Bee Box like normal.
How do I sign up for Continuous Order?
Simple! When you are checking out, select the "Credit/Debit Card" option and when you have finished filling out your credit card information, select the option "Yes- Weekly" from the drop down menu asking if you would like your order to become continuous.
Will I get charged in one lump sum or will it be individual payments?
You will be charged once a week on your pick up location's cut off day. Example: If your pick up location's cut off day is Monday, you will be charged once every Monday.
I would like to order other products along with my usual continuous order, how do I do this?
Just add the items you want included in your continuous order into your shopping cart, select "Yes - Weekly" on the checkout page, and submit your order. You can add any item for a continuous order - Bee Box/Express, any type of bread, or the Fiesta Fresh Salsa Box. However, if you would like to add an additional Bee Box Classic or Express to your continuous order, select the option "Yes - Weekly" to add it to your already continuous order or use the Contact Us page to let us know.
I no longer wish to have a continuous order. How can I cancel?
Either by using the "Contact Us" Page or emailing admin@greenbeeproduce.com . After we have received your email, we'll start the cancellation process. Please notify us at least two days prior to your host site's cut off day - this will ensure that you won't be charged for the coming week. Once your cancellation has been completed, we'll notify you via email.

If you notify us the day before or day of your Host Site's location cut off, there won't be enough time to process the continuous order cancellation. Your card will be charged for that week's Bee Box.

I forgot to pick up my box! Help!
If you forgot, or were unable to pickup your Bee Box, you will need to contact your site host for further information. Once Green Bee has delivered the boxes to the site, we have no control over how things are handled. Each site host has their own policy on how to they want to deal with those situations. Green Bee will no issue refunds on boxes that were not picked up.
Can I schedule a different day and time to pick up my Bee Box?
Your Bee Box has to be picked up on the day and time that you Host's Site has scheduled. If you are unable to pick upon the day/time your host site has scheduled, you can try and contact you Site Host to see if they can hold your box until you are able to pick it up. However, this decision is based solely on your Site Host.
What if none of the pickup locations are close to my home - will you deliver?
We do not personally deliver to single individuals. In order to keep costs down, we are unable to go door to door. You might consider hosting your own site, though :)
I went to my Host Site to pick up my box, but I wasn't on the Pick Up List!
Don't panic! Several things could cause this: 1) You placed your order past deadline. If that's the case, your box will be available next pick up week. 2.) Its been known to happen that you think you might have ordered, but the order did not go through. When you go to your Host Site, be sure to bring your receipt with you - if you didn't get a receipt, your order did not process, hence why you aren't on the list. If you are positive you have ordered and have your receipt, tell your Site Host and they will be able to work things out for you.

How do I know if the Host Site I picked received their portion of the box sale?
When you select what location to pick up your Bee Box, your Host Site automatically gets credit for the sale.
How much money does my Host Site make for each Bee Box sold?
The percentage your Host Site receives from the sale of Bee Boxes is decided when our Bee Box Representative meets with the Site Host to set up the Program.
What does the Site Host do with the money?
Each Site Host has control over what they do with the funds they have earned. You would have to contact your Site Host to know exactly what they do with the money.
What if the Host Site I want the donation to go to isn't the place where I want to pick up at?
Whichever location you choose for pickup gets the credit. There is no way to give the credit of your box to one host site while picking up at another.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my Bee Box?
If you run into any problems with your Bee Box, tell your Site Host when you pick up your box and they will let us know of your complaints. Or, you can contact us directly through the Contact Us page or by emailing us at admin@greenbeeproduce.com

Do you reuse or recycle your boxes?
No and Yes. We do not reuse any Bee Boxes. For sanitation purposes, we just can't do that :( We'd love to be able to, but we can never be sure what has been in or around the boxes once they leave the Host Site and would hate to have anyone become sick because of it. So no, we don't reuse boxes.

On a lighter note, we do believe in recycling our used boxes - we encourage you to do the same! Every box recycled is a tree saved, right? So make sure you do your part to help save our environment and take your box to a local recycler!
